Me and this girl liked the same guy. He told her he didn't like her and he liked me. She now hates me even though I am nice to her. She says that she is still going to try and date him. Well since he knows I liked and vice versa I thought we would be going on a date by now. He flirts but doesn't ask me. 1.What is wrong?!? 2.How can I get him ask me out when he is shy??

You have a friend who is jealous. You can't make her be not jealous. It is out of your control. Just treat her with kindness and respect.

You can't make him ask you out. Why don't you ask him out? Do it directly. Find a non-threatening activity and out with it. ';Would you like to come to the tree-lighting with me next Saturday?'; ';I would love some company helping pack food boxes at the food bank.'; ';They have folk dancing lessons at the grange Saturday nights. Would you like to try it out with me?';





Why do you think he is shy? Maybe he isn't interested in dating. (Not interested in dating is very different from not interested in *you*.) You don't say how old you are, but many boys in high school aren't interested in dating, even though he might truly find you interesting, beautiful, cute, intelligent, etc.





Perhaps he has no money to take you out. Or no car.





When I was in high school an attractive girl was interested in me, but I found her of low morals and poor character. She was cute, but I wasn't interested.
