Need advice on dating a friend?

So I am finally going out with this girl who has been my friend for almost a year. But its more of a we will go out and see what happens kind of thing (Sort of an unofficial date). What are somethings I can do to take it to the next level, so that we will be considered more than just friends?Need advice on dating a friend?
Take it nice and slow, obviously you're both very nervous about this. Try reaching for her hand and don't take it too far on a first date. Just show her you're there and care for her, nothing is more attractive to women (in my opinion, of course what do I know? I'm a guy). And look her in the eyes, buy her ticket, and try to get her to stay a little after the movie and just talk :)Need advice on dating a friend?
Well probably you will have to take her on an official date first. the moment she and you both know the intentions before hand is best. Just like if you have to make a football move to make it considered a catch , you have to make a boyfriend move to be considered a next level. Ideas (longer hugs, walking cuddling, flirting on phone, hints that you like her body)
Things that girls like in bf:


1. Be a gentlemen; open the door, walk slighty behind or next to her. NEVER in front!


2. Be sweet! Bring her flowers, tell her she looks pretty


3. Don't be boring. Keep up the conversation smile and have fun!


4. At the end of the night, give her a hug and if things went well for both of you (if you think she had fun and you had fun) then maybe a kiss on the cheek too.
