Uterus measuring larger than due date? 15 weeks measuring @ 18 weeks... advice please?

So, i know its perfectly normal to measure ahead by a week or 2.... mainly later in pregnancy. Well i am officially 15 weeks exactly today and my doctor said my uterus is measuring at 18 weeks... so i'm going back to 2 weeks to see if there is a significant change or not.





Anyways- anyone had this happen? And what was the outcome... my daughter was 9lbs 4oz, and i was measuring 2 weeks behind!Uterus measuring larger than due date? 15 weeks measuring @ 18 weeks... advice please?

With this pregnancy I was measuring 18 weeks at 16 weeks. Then I went back and they measured be at 17 weeks at 17 weeks?? so sometimes its really hard to tell where the uterus is when you aren't showing a bump yet, you just have to feel around until you find it. Don't worry, my first baby was as big as yours! I wouldn' worry about this one being bigger though, unless you are diabetic, then you're more prone to bigger babies :)
I was the same with my daughter...the doc took her about a week and a half early...she was 8-14...can you imagine if he would have left her in there to cook longer. You will probably have a bigger baby this time or your uterus is just big because you are a multipara...
I've measured 3 weeks ahead my whole pregnancy until now, it's finally just evened out. I wouldn't worry unless the doctor is worried. Some women measure bigger and have normal size babies.
