It's only about a year and a half difference and he's super mature. I want to date him and he wants to date me but my mom won't allow it. She hasn't even met him and doesn't want to even though he's offered. The only reason she won't let me date him is because of his age. WHAT DO I DO?! D:

maybe if he came to your house when you werent around and talked to your mom one on one about why he likes you, how sex is TOTALLY out of the question (thats the biggy I think) and kind of schmooz her. if he has good grades that might not be a bad idea to tell her so she knows (or thinks) he's a good person (for some reason parents think good grades=great person) my gf is 17 %26amp; im 15 and thats what she did %26amp; my mom totally changed her mindI need advice on how to convince my mom to let me date someone who is 17 when I am only 15.?

My mom was the same way with my current relationship. I'm 16 and my boyfriend is 19. Just show her how mature he is, either that or dont tell her and date him anyways. If its what you want, and he makes you happy, then you should do what you want.
