I'm super nervous.
I met a guy a week ago at a party, and have been talking to him online and on the phone almost every day since. We have a lot in common and I really like him. But tomorrow, we're actually seeing each other again. I am going to dinner with him, two of his friends, and two of my friends. It's not a super fancy place, it's like a mexican sports bar place. Since we've been talking so often, most of the regular first date questions like ';where do you work'; have already been asked.
Anyways, can you please give me some advice? I've never been on a date with someone that wasn't already my boyfriend, so I'm super nervous. And PLEASE give me something more than ';be yourself';. Can you give me some advice/tips for a first date?
Take a conversation starter / lifter... something funny like a game to play or something funny to discuss - it'll help to set a light, fun mood and introduce some laughter which will help to break the ice.
Can you give me some advice/tips for a first date?
1. Don't talk about past relationships
2. Don't take the date to seriously, make it casual
3. Don't talk about other girls
4. Focus the conversation on getting to know him more, the basics (family, work, etc.)
5. Leave him wanting more
Just relax, take a deep breath and be yourself :)
Good luck.
Act normal. Don't over do it, and don't be shy. Treat him like a girl friend, if that helps you not be nervous. Good manners and politeness will go a long way. Don't force any questions, but if you are genuinely curious, ask away.
Honestly just relax, go out there and have fun. He will be the one grilling you with questions so just go with it and listen to what he says and give him questions on that.
You are supposed to go with a male chaparone like a dad or brother or uncle
make sure your breath doesnt smell cause thats a major turn off.
dont try to hard to impress him. be urself
dont be too shy = then he might not think u dont like him
