All that advice about how long to wait to call. With facebook, aim, email, text messages......that advice is outdated. Sometimes I've imed or texted somebody to let them know I got home safe and that I had an awesome time like after the date. Or I'll poke them on facebook. Or call them the next day and be like what's up.
My uncle use to love to give me bad advice and laugh about it later. I got smart by the time I was 16... all of these things I did between 13 and 16. ';Stick your tongue in her ear... girls like that.'; (that got me smacked), ';Open the door for the girl but make sure you smack her on the butt as she goes through'; (that one about got me punched) and the best one ever ';He told me during the movie to pull ';it'; out for her'; (She screamed so loud everyone in the movie theater looked back at us). I look back and laugh at the dumb stuff my uncle told me and worse I believed him. But he was the only male role model I had at that age... not that much of a role model! lol. Thank God I am nothing like him... I will never let him give my kids any kind of advice.
