I have to continue a court date for an eviction. Need advice?

I am 9 months pregnant and i have an eviction court date coming in two weeks. I am on bed rest and maybe getting induced that same day or the day before. I really need to go to the hearing but afraid i will not be able to. I called the court house and they said to put in a continuance but i will not know that outcome until that same day or that afternoon. I know this case will have to go to trial because we are being wrongfully evicted. I do not know what to do. Do you think that the judge would continue something like this? How does this work? also when would the next court date be if he was? PLease help i am really worried. i live in vaI have to continue a court date for an eviction. Need advice?
sweety you should be allowed a continuance.you just got to call that day, that morning b4 court starts.like at 8-830.just say you need a continuance.or go get a lawyer now to represent you.and usually its 2wks continuance to a month at the most....why cant the person in your life go?i get a lawyer since you say you were wrongfully evicted....if it deals with not paying your rent have all your reciepts together.have you broken any agreement or contract?did you get the info from the person your renting from?or from someone else?i hate for you not to know the real deal from the main source.are you sure you were wrongfully evicted???
