So, I went on a date tonight...Need some quick advice.?

I went on a 'first' ';date'; tonight with someone at the movies. We had a good time, I went over to the person's house and we watched Reno 911 for awhile, then I had the person drive me back to my dorms. I had a great time, I really enjoyed hanging out with that person.





To the best of my knowledge I think that person had fun too. In fact, I was the one who said ';I need to get home';...





But anyways, I didn't really make any 'moves' necessarily to indicate that I enjoyed the night. I was dropped off at my dorms about 10 minutes ago and I was thinking of sending a text message just saying something like ';I had a lot of fun tonight, we should do it again'; -- or just asking a question like ';Hey, did I leave my phone in your car by any chance?'; to get a conversation going.





Should I just wait till tomorrow? lol

go on the offensive but wait until tomorrow. be more specific. Dont say ';We should go out again';. Say ';Lets go to dinner at ___ on friday'; or ';Will you go see ___ w me on saturday';? Then, be the nicest man she's ever met. Treat her like a princess.. But be direct in your questions and YOU make the plans. I would send a harmless little text to and say just what you typed: ';I had a lot of fun tonight'; I would send it now.





Don't ask a question like did I leave my phone in your car... won't you ask the question via text from your phone? Plus, it seems like a question would be transparent to a lack of confidence. Keep it honest.

Aww, don't be so nervous. You've done everything right, and good on you for not making the evening drag on for too long, and saying you need to go. Make sure you leave this person wanting more when you two go out. And be stingy with your SMSs. If you must, tell them you've had a nice time.
Do it! send a text saying you had a great time and you would love to do it again, and leave it as that. You cant go wrong with it.
i would wait for him to text you. then the next time text him first. oh and if you ask you left your cell phone in his car you might sound kinda stupid. lol think about it.
Well, I would try the ';Did I leave my phone in your car by any chance?'; thing. Then from there you can get into a conversation and say how much fun you had =]

you should send out a text and tell them you had a good time, really it depends on the girl but just give her something to keep thinking about you. the more a girl thinks about you the better it is for you whether she is thinking positive thoughts or not so i would suggest text her say you had a good time and ask her to hang out like next week or something.
